As a BA (Honours) graduate from Plymouth College of Art and Design in 2008, I studied Fine Art and was always taught to think and operate outside the box when it came to conveying ideas and conventions through creative means. I always worked with computers since a very young age, and that later developed into an advanced knowledge of various creative design programs from the Adobe Creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro) given to me in order to produce countless works in print and media. In the last few years I used this technical knowledge and creative thinking to mainly provide for the needs of various clients, by creating promotional material for their businesses such as posters, logos, business cards and web graphics; and also designing for people who had personal projects such as wedding stationary and music band posters that needed to be done. My work has even been featured in Shortlist Magazine, Computer Arts, Plymouth & South Hams Oracle magazine, and various design blogs on the internet. As well as client work, I like to create graphic design pieces in my spare time to express my love for music and cinema, especially my poster work. Along with this, I am always open to new challenges and forms of communicae, and am willing to expand my creative and techinical prowess. I am also part of the Plymouth Designers initiative, which specialises in networking designers in various disciplines together to share and market ideas, and to raise awareness for design in the local area.
