Logo Development

This was a logo I made for a brand new up-and-coming hotel in Plymouth called The Craft House.

A hand-drawing of the hotel itself filled it in with some watercolour paint via Procreate. This is encased inside a circular emblem in the style of a vintage ink stamp. The inner circles of the logo are in a stitch effect to emphasise the craft element of the hotel.

Main Logo (Monochromatic white with a dark blue background)

The logo currently has two versions with different typefaces. The original logo (main photo) contains the font Zilla Slab, but due to technical difficulties, another version was produced using Boston Traffic. Either way, both typefaces still give out a warm and rustic feel to the place.

White on Black; and Black on White monochromatic horizontal versions

Speaking of the hotel I already had an exclusive tour of the rooms and they look amazing; I wouldn’t mind booking a room myself.

So if you’re visiting Plymouth and want to stay somewhere by the sea, then I would definitely recommend The Craft House. Friendly and welcoming owners who’ll help you relax and make yourself at home; there’s even a licensed bar!
